Insurance
As your South Portland dentist, Dr. Beck wants to make it easier and more affordable than ever for our patients to receive the quality dental care their oral health requires. That’s why we accept all types of dental insurance, regardless of whether in or out of network.
We strongly recommend that all patients check with their insurance provider to make sure they are not restricted from seeing the SW Portland dentist at South Waterfront Dental.
At South Waterfront Dental, we’re a preferred provider with Delta Dental (Moda) Premier & PPO (not EPO), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon and PacificSource. If you have any questions regarding your policy, the types of treatments and services covered, or your deductible, we invite you to contact our experienced administrative team. Our front office staff will help determine your available benefits and whether our waterfront dental office is in or out of your network.

Keeping You Well Informed
Keeping You Informed
Navigating the world of insurance has always been a challenging process. As one of the premier dentists South Portland, OR has to offer, we strive to keep our patients well-informed about all insurance issues.
We contact insurance carriers daily to ensure we give patients the most accurate insurance information possible. In some cases, we will send a predetermination of benefits to have the insurance estimate in writing. Even after all this communication, you can sometimes be responsible for unexpected costs.
When working with your insurance plan:
- Be proactive. Contact your provider to ensure you understand your coverage, especially for more extensive procedures.
- Teamwork makes the dream work. Please be sure we have all the necessary information to submit claims on your behalf.
- We bill your insurance company as a service to you. The portion on the bill not covered by insurance is your responsibility.
- Know your plan to avoid surprises on your dental bill. Understanding what your insurance will cover and what you will need to cover out-of-pocket is essential.
